Video Instructions About How to Create a Simple Website
Designing and preparing your website
You should now be working on your websites and preparing and writing online lecture notes. In order to get more help with your webdesign I strongly encourage you to read the Module on Website Design and Writing. In this text, they talk about "the design message" that is define as the image the organization wants to portray to the reader. This can also be called the brand. When creating the look of the website you must consider logos, colors, fonts, and images. These must all support the personality of the organization.
In your case, you are not designing an image for the organization, but rather you are trying to represent yourself. You are the brand! So, please take time to design a site that you will be proud off and that will accurately reflect who you are.
I think that the entire module on Website Design is very useful but you should most definitely read the following pages: Quick (trivia) questions. I actually just learned about all of this myself :)
